Ben Wortham the hardest working engineer around!
Ben Wortham is a recording/sound engineer, producer , songwriter(as BenJaMun), and musician with over twenty years in the music business. He was a published songwriter before graduating high school in 1983 with several songs and instrumental compositions selling in the multimedia/film market. While studying music theory in the early eighties he served as chief recording engineer at U.T.S.A. and recorded various classical performances for release including cellist Yo-Yo Ma and the San Antonio Symphony. He also did live sound for broadcast on a number of live music events for KLRN TV in San Antonio. During the late eighties he worked as a freelance engineer at studios such as Studio Seven , The Fire Station(San Marcos, TX), and his private studio Ben's Basement. At this time he also acted as producer and lead guitarist for the local San Marcos rock/pop band "Storm Searcher". After a brief stint working in Advertising in the early nineties he went back to school to work on B.F.A. in visual arts at Texas State University. He is currently working on his third full length solo project which he hopes to release some time this year. Mr. Wortham is a full member of A.S.C.A.P.
